Decision of Board of Management in regard to employees of Guru Gobind Singh Medical College & Hospital, Faridkot.

The Board of Management in its meeting held on 31.1.2006 resolved as below:

1. That the service rules as contained in Punjab Medical Education State Services (Class-II) Rules, 1979 and Punjab Medical Education Services (Class-I) (First amendment) Rules, 1985 and Punjab CSR along with all amendments made from time to time for the employees of GGS Medical College & Hospital, Faridkot opting to join the University, if considered appropriate subject to the provision in the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences Act be adopted till such time that the Universities own rules came into being.

2. That any such rules framed by the University at any time shall not be adverse or to any disadvantage of any employee taken over from the Government service at any time.

3. That 10% increase should be allowed in the Basic pay as a special pay subject to maximum of Rs. 2500/- per month to Medical and Paramedical staff of Guru Gobind Singh Medical College & Hospital, Faridkot who will join the services of the University. This shall have retrospective effect on Nursing Faculty already absorbed.
