Candidates have not given documents for their identification at the time of application/in the examination centre.  They were given notices/telephone calls for appearing for the identification in the University and their names were put on the web site also.  Their individual result was provisionally declared with the condition that they shall come for identification. Already on verification of photos submitted by the candidates on OMR Application Form and the videography of the candidate taken at the examination centre, 24 impersonators have been caught and their cases have been sent to Police.

 The date for identification was extended to 04.07.2008.  However 296 candidates have not come forward for identification, hence their candidature stands cancelled and the previous provisional result is also hereby cancelled. Click here to view list

The candidate who have not cleared photo identity discrepancies, as mentioned against individual result of each candidate at the website, are hereby directed to clear the same immediately, by visiting the University, personally, upto 04th  July 2008 (Friday) positively, failing which the candidature of the  concerned candidates is likely to be cancelled without any further notice/correspondence

Candidates of PMET-2008 seeking personal identity clearance should report personally to the University office on 24-06-08 onwards with Irrevocable proof of their personal identity . Such as certificate of verification from principal of concerned school with affixed photo.

Result of PMET-08 has been declared and their individual ranking and category wise ranking will be declared soon. Candidates are advised to submit their admission application form at University  on or before 04-07-08 preferably by hand.

Candidates without identity clearance will not be eligible for counselling.

Punjab Medical Entrance Test (PMET-2008)

Punjab Medical Entrance Test-2008 for admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS courses in various Government and Private Institutes affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, shall be held on 22^nd June 2008.

1.   Prospectuses containing OMR Application Form and other conditions shall be available at the counter in office of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot and also at the following branches of Canara Bank on cash payment of Rs. 800/- from 19^th May 2008 onwards.

2.       Last date for receipt of OMR Application Form for Entrance Test is 4^th June 2008.

3.       The banks shall not supply Prospectus by Post. However candidate can get the same by post on sending a request to the University along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 850/- drawn on any scheduled bank in favour of Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.

4.       Candidates are advised to ensure deposition of OMR application form by due date/time by hand at BFUHS Campus, Faridkot and not risk delivery by mail. BFUHS will not be liable for any loss due to postal delay.

5.      The University will remain open on Saturday’s, Sundays and other holidays for sale of Prospectus and receipt of OMR application forms of PMET-2008.
